A Caernival Manifesto for All the World.

FULL TEXT

A MESSAGE TO ALL THIS WORLD:

Bring Us your meek and bewildered, your weak and crippled, broken, wrenched and pulled. If you are beautiful We will change you. If you are whole We will halve you. Bring Us your meek and bewildered, your broken and called, wrenched and pulled, with delight to come. If you are beautiful We will disfigure you, to make you more so. Bring Us your cold and weary, ugly and misfortuned, happy and laughing, your fat and boned, those cut, cavaliered, answered and impotent, We will take you. The messed are welcomed, stupid, ignorant, the arrogant, the gallant. Bring Us your old and your young, your with-child and nursing, your elected, erected and abused. If ye be snapped, cased, jubilant and feared, We will take you. Bring Us your tired and weary, your joyful and sad, chained, beat upon and poor. Those of near-death, We welcome you. If ye be bagged, come. If ye be broken We shall take you, with delight to come. Beg no more. Come. We will change you.

All are welcome to the Carnival! Come. If you come to Us beautiful, We will hang you, to make you more so.

Come inside of Us. Come inside Us.

Come.
